Our Contract

These terms and conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Brigade Clothing LTD to the customer (you).

All orders placed by you and purchases of goods from us (via our website as we may permit) are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by us when the goods are dispatched to the customer, at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between you and us.

The processing of your payment and acknowledgment of your order (including sending you an email confirming your order is being processed) does not constitute legal acceptance of your order unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order.

Prices

We hold our prices for a minimum of one year. However, we reserve the right to amend prices and/or specifications without prior notice.

Discounts given online may only apply to orders placed online. Any discounts and/or special offers offered online in conjunction with each other will result in the larger discount being applied to the item and/or order value. Discounts and/or special offers running in conjunction with each other will not be added together.

Sizes

All sizes are approximate ‘to fit’ sizes and are given as a general guideline only.

Deliveries

Claims for damage in transit or shortages shall be made in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods. Delivery dates specified in the Company literature, website and any other medium are estimates only.

The Company shall not be liable for failure to deliver by such date or for any damage or loss arising directly out of any delay in delivery.

Returns

Brigade cannot offer an exchange service.

A refund will be issued upon receipt for the items only, postage is non-refundable. If you require replacement items, please log onto www.brigadeuniformdirect.uk.com.

We reserve the right to make a handling charge for exchange or return of goods which have been correctly supplied. All faulty goods must be notified within 7 days from receipt of order.

Couriers will attempt delivery on 3 occasions, if delivery is not successful the parcel will then be returned to ourselves. Once the parcel has been returned back to our warehouse, one of our accounts team will contact you to take payment for re-delivery of your parcel.

Overdue Accounts

Payment is due within 30 days from receipt of invoice for credit accounts. If payment is delayed the company reserve the right to charge interest on money outstanding. The rate will be 2% per month or part month.

Origination and Designs

Embroidery originations and discs prepared by Brigade Clothing Ltd remain the property of the company whether charged or not.

Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of Brigade Clothing Ltd. until full payment has been received.

VAT

Schools catering exclusively for pupils under 14:

Adult items for children are NOT subject to VAT when embroidered or printed with a Primary School logo.

HOWEVER, orders placed for adults are subject to VAT. Please mark clearly ADULT or CHILD in the column provided on the order form.

Garments supplied to High Schools are subject to VAT for children over 14 years of age or for garments larger than size 37” chest’.
